A familiar summer sight for more than 30 years, the William Ramsey is wheelchair accessible and features 2 washrooms, a snack bar, and is licensed by the LLBO.
The boat is enclosed with sliding windows down both sides. There’s an open back deck that is covered with a windbreak so we sail rain or shine. There is no minimum number of passengers required for a public cruise.
The boat was built in 1985 by Northway Industries and has a registered gross weight of 44 tons. This all-steel vessel is 56 feet in length, 15 feet wide, and draws 3 feet. It is powered by two 110 Volvo diesel engines and has a top speed of 29 miles per hour. The fully insured vessel and the crew are certified and licensed by Transport Canada.
The William Ramsey has been owned, operated, and helmed by Captain Rob Osborne for more than thirty years. During this time, he has welcomed hundreds of thousands of passengers from around the globe. Captain Rob and his staff are very knowledgeable about the lake and are always happy to answer any of your inquiries!
The William Ramsey is proud to be part of a vibrant community and we do our best to give back with our ongoing support of several local charitable organizations.
